The programme for the week is designed to build on the experience and practise of Mindfulness, day by day.
Each day, the programme follows a similar programme.
7.30am – 8.30am morning Yoga
8.30am – 9.30am Breakfast
10.00am – 12.30pm Tai Chi session.
12.30pm – 4.00pm Lunch & Free time. Instructors available for 1:1 tuition/discussion
4.00pm – 5.30pm Yoga session
6.00pm – 7.30pm Dinner.
7.30pm – 9.30pm Dharma talk and meditation in the training space
Our purpose here is to help you grow, spiritually and emotionally as a person. This requires effort. You will see from the programme that this retreat is quite intensive. But although we encourage you to take part in all aspects of the programme, we also know that you will inevitably get tired and need to rest. The Buddhist concept of Right Effort applies here. Finding the right balance of effort to make progress but at the same time noticing how you are feeling and resting when you need to.
